The manufacturer has fitted suspension to your 4WD that is a compromise. It is designed to handle well when the vehicle is standard. Adding accessories, your family and your luggage adds weight that changes the handling characteristics of your vehicle. Increased braking distance and reduced cornering performance are an unacceptable safety risk every time you are in the vehicle, not just when you are away on holiday.
